NUS Open

ok. its finally over after 2 days of hard bowling. been fun actually. i did not get any medals. well, there were many strong teams there. NTU, SAJC and NUS were quite strong. we only won 2 medals (ladies overall champion & ladies doubles champion). we contended quite well but did not win any other medals. the ladies quartets even lost to the 3rd placing team by 5 freaking pins! dammit ah.

over to my team. doubles, me and ban sing was 40th out of 52 teams. quite ok ah. firdaus and gifford was quite lower down. gifford did well but firdaus pulled it down. quartets yesterday was a disaster. 1st game, we got 700 series. damn good ah. then the 3 other games were shit literally. felt bad for ban sing coz he did well yesterday but me and the others pulled him down. we were paired in the same lanes with RP 2, which played well. i scored well in the first game with 188. however, once the lanes dried up, i was struggling to get the pocket ah. super hard to get. i got so many splits instead. RP2 did well. they even got a 800 series.

well, thats about it. i got to know my new ball a little better. now i need to buy a new spare ball coz mine now too light. so i can't get accurate shots on my spares ah. so, i still have limitations on my equipment though.

2moro feel like playing bowling at Bukit Batok CSC. there cheap mah. haha. need to train up more. must play for POL-ITE!!! must!!!
