f1 madness...

ok...recall. last sunday, in F1 at Melbourne, my BMW Sauber team did well, finishing 4th and 6th respectively (YEAH!). at least an improvement since there wasn't an exploded BMW engine this time round. i pity jenson button though. could have gotten 5th, but engine exploded at the last corner of the race. michael schumacher crashed (YES!).its time he puts down his helmet lah. anyway, france was crowned A1 GP World Champion. good race for Team Malaysia, finishing 1st in the sprint race and 2nd in the feature race. also, played a lot of racing these few days. finally managed to download the Nurburgring Nordschleife (supposedly the fiercest track in the world!) for my F1 Challenge game. very demanding track with lots of blind corners and really bumpy under braking. very hard to setup the car. however, there are many fast sections, and i managed to top out my BMW Sauber at 325km/h at one of them (not the max at this point of time). still yet to FINISH the 21km though. keep on crashing. dammit. and last night (or this morning at 2am), completed my SPC-BMW F1 car. its my first F1 car. basically a BMW Sauber with minor tweaks. will release pictures soon. did lots of testing today at Nurburgring (since its where major companies such as ferrari, ford, and aston martin, hone their cars' handling). learnt a lot about the handling of the new car. then, went to drive at Silverstone, where i set my personal best (1:22.077) in the SPC-BMW! i only managed a 1:23 in a Mclaren Mercedes and Ferrari and a 1:24 in a Renault. i love the handling of the BMW. the SPC-BMW is a little bit twitchy. so still need lots of testing and improving my setups. oklah. dats all. ta-ta.
